“My knees were shaking. Awful images popped up in my mind: headlines about missing children, red-and-white police tape, dead bodies. Pictures of arrested kidnappers, their faces unrecognizable. My mind was reeling.”

On his first Saturday off in what seems like ages, Chris has to babysit his little sister Lily. The fact that he has run out of diapers doesn’t improve his mood. When Chris comes out of the supermarket, the baby carriage is gone – with Lily inside. Then his cell phone rings: «I have your sister. If you want her back alive …»
The caller wants 960 francs, by 4pm. Chris has to get Lily back before his father, police detective Bruno Cavalli, and Lily’s mother, district attorney Regina Flint, find out about the kidnapping. Desperate, Chris asks his friend Leo for help. But Leo is broke.
Together with Nicole and Julie, Chris and Leo start tracking down the kidnapper. Chris begins to understand the meaning of true friendship and how important his little sister is to him.
